Teamlead Customer Service & Transport

Abbott Vascular Netherlands is a distribution & value add centre, shipping cardiovascular products globally to ~ 100 countries. As a team lead for both the Customer Service team & Transport team you will be working together with your in total 11 team members to ensure millions of patients worldwide have access to market leading medical devices. Your customer service team is working with different types of customers, ensuring customer requests & planning are aligned with internal capacity, and visa versa. Your transport team is finalizing a smooth supply chain by being in daily contact with our parcel- and freight partners, taking care of custom declarations and Letters of Credit.

You get to lead the two teams as well as taking active part in the strategic development of Abbott Vascular by your membership in the Site Leadership Team.

PRIMA R Y OBJECTI V E OF POSITION

• Provide the highest level of customer service to all our global customers.

• Be accountable for the transportation of all outbound shipments & creation of required documents (traffic-, export- and import related) so that all shipments will arrive at the customer on-time, without issues.

• Oversee the performances of the Customer Service, & Transport Representatives.

• Assure that Customer Service and Transport are working compliant/ according the approved procedures (corporate, finance and local).

• Work on process improvements for Customer Service and Traffic.

• Positively influence the perception of AVN @ all internal and external stakeholders.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support and coach the Customer Service Representatives and (Senior) Traffic employees in all activities.

• Maintain good communication lines with global stakeholders.

• Be internal & external POC for all warehouse planning related matters.

• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve reported issues in a timely and efficient manner.

• Support senior management on special requests and projects.

• Support the sales organization by pro- actively managing information flow.

• Be the owner & driver of the service complaints process.

• Safeguard planned transport savings.

• Functions as the key contact person between AVN and its transport partners.

• Assure adherence to the environmental management system requirements (e.g. IS014001).

EDUCATION

• Higher vocational or higher

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/ BACKGROUND

• Healthy business acumen.

• Ability to build relationships with key in/external stakeholders & regional directors. Ability to make decisions, taking multiple (conflicting) stakeholders in consideration.

• Knowledge of standard CS and/or Transport processes.

• Proven experience in teamlead/ supervisor role.

• React immediately on changing customer and/or organizational changes.

• Encourage your team members to focus on costs-effective, quality and productivity improvements ....

• Work effectively with others within the supply chain, commercial and across other functions and organizations. Being able to influence others to get things done.
