Supply Chain Specialist IC Supply

The Intercompany Supply Chain team in Maastricht is responsible for the on-time and in full delivery of Radiology Injector Units, Disposables and Spare Parts.  As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be working with five colleagues in our Intercompany Supply Management Team in Maastricht. Together with your colleagues, you will be managing the order flow from our regional distribution center towards various local Bayer sales organizations and their customers in region EMEA, APAC and LATAM. In your role you ensure that Bayer Radiology intercompany sales and return transactions run smoothly.


You will be part of a dedicated team of five professionals with diversity in age, experience, culture and background in Supply Chain. The team is passionate for performance and delivering state of art Radiology medical devices to our customers by ensuring that internal transactions run smoothly. You will get to understand and oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, interact with various other teams on a daily basis and live the continuous improvement mind-set. Developing as a team and individually is important to us. We aim to provide great service to our internal and external customers.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible to:

•    Ensure the smooth order flow from affiliate to supplier and vice versa (iDoc monitoring and solving flow interruptions)
•    Collaborate with other departments required to ensure seamless intercompany order flow, e.g. checking stock availability with the on-site planning team, verifying transfer prices with the on-site finance team, following up with local sales organizations in the countries on timely delivery of orders and arranging practical details of order processing with the on-site logistics team
•    Ensure timely execution of emergency orders jointly with our third-party logistics service provider
•    Escalate if on time and in full shipment of orders are at risk and find hands-on solutions to ensure our products reach our customers and patients
•    Monitoring system status of intercompany purchase orders and sales orders
•    Being the first point of contact for other Bayer sales organizations as subject matter experts in the area of intercompany supply
•    Manage global hub transactional returns processes, buy-back scenarios and credits.
•    Support and drive optimization projects

WHO YOU ARE

You feel comfortable to challenge the status quo and to find solutions jointly with your team. Lastly, you have a sharp eye for detail, work accurately and precisely thereby supporting the seamless flow of our products to our customers and patients.

•    Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•    Language: Fluent English in writing and verbal; Dutch is a plus
•    Functional insight in supply chain processes preferred
•    Experience with ERP (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office applications
•    Analytically inclined. With strong focus on monitoring, improving and sustaining
•    Affinity with planning and having structured working approach
•    Well-developed communicative and collaborative skills
•    You live within travel distance from Maastricht
