Byondis is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical R&D company based in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. At Byondis, we focus on the development of innovative medicines, including antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and immunotherapies, in the key therapeutic areas of oncology and autoimmune diseases. Our Bioanalysis & Protein Interaction department is part of Byondis’ research division and is responsible for (bio)analytical support in all stages of our biopharmaceutical pipeline. Our work involves bioanalytical research, mainly to support PK and ADME studies of our new compounds. We are now seeking a highly-motivated research technician with an interest in the immuno-oncology field to join our growing team.
Your role
As a Research Analyst you will work together with other analysts and researchers to develop, qualify and execute immunoassays. You take responsibility for the experimental lab work, and generate, process and report data of ‘fit-for-purpose’ quality and integrity. In this way, you support Byondis pipeline from early discovery projects up to clinical phase trials.
Your Profile
A natural team player with an attitude to collaborate and communicate as well as being flexible to act in a fast changing and demanding environment. You are result-oriented and use proactivity and creativity as your methodology to find solutions. You are self-motivated which enables you to work with a high degree of independence.
- A MLO/HLO degree in analytical sciences or equivalent.
- >2 years of relevant experience in bioanalysis, specifically ligand binding and/or LC-MS assays, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. Senior technicians with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Eager to set-up and execute ligand binding and/or LC-MS assays to profile antibodies, ADCs and small molecules.
- Hands-on experience in bioanalysis.
- Practical knowledge of standard (immunological) laboratory techniques.
- The competence to accurately perform experiments and report them in electronic lab journals is a requisite.
- Effective time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, driven by quality and results. Ability to present and discuss results.
- Adequate verbal and written communication skills in English
