You will have the following key objectives and learning points:


1. Assist in Workplace Inspections and Audits:

- Collaborate with HSE professionals to conduct comprehensive workplace inspections and audits.

- Identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.


2. Data Collection and Analysis:

- Support in collecting and analyzing data pertaining to workplace incidents, near misses, and environmental performance indicators.

- Utilize in-house resources to gather relevant data for analysis and reporting purposes.


3. Documentation and Reporting:

- Aid in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation related to HSE performance and initiatives.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of reports to facilitate decision-making processes.


4. Continuous Improvement:

- Contribute ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement in HSE processes and practices.

- Participate in discussions and initiatives aimed at enhancing workplace safety and environmental sustainability.


5. Emergency Response Preparedness:

- Participate in emergency response drills to familiarize oneself with emergency procedures.

- Assist in the development and refinement of emergency response plans based on insights gained from drills and assessments.


Job requirements

Qualifications:

- Education : Currently Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in related field

- Knowledge of Regulations and Standards : Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

- Passion for HSE : Genuine interest and passion for promoting health, safety, and environmental sustainability in the workplace.

- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.

- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch to convey information clearly and effectively.

- Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to group efforts.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office : Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting purposes.

- Affinity for Laboratory Environment : Comfort and interest in working within a laboratory environment, if applicable.

- Availability : Available to start on September 1st, 2024, for a duration of 5-6 months.

- Languages : English mandatory, Dutch is highly preferred
