What You Will Do:

- Work alongside experienced technicians and scientists to design and execute experiments

- Assist in developing molecular assays based on qPCR or ddPCR technologies

- Prepare and conduct laboratory experiments under guidance

- Analyze and discuss experimental results with team members

- Plan and propose follow-up experiments

- Contribute to a dynamic, collaborative research environment


Your Typical Day:

- Start your day in the office, checking emails and planning experiments

- Move to the lab to carry out hands-on experimental work

- Engage in discussions with scientists about results and next steps

- Document findings and prepare for upcoming research activities


Job requirements

What We Are Looking For:

- Bachelor's degree (HBO) in a relevant scientific field (Master's candidates also welcome)

- Familiarity or experience with PCR and qPCR techniques

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a QA system environment

- Fluency in English (working language of the team)


Additional Details:

- 9-month internship starting in September

- Full-time position (40 hours/week preferred, 32 hours/week possible)

- On-site work in our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities
