We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Director of Alliance Management

Scope of the job

You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the value of our global partner alliances, bringing innovation to patients together!

Your role

• Oversee the designated alliances, manage their governance, while vigilantly monitoring key value drivers to ensure obligations are fulfilled and decisions are effectively executed
• Actively support the launch of new partnerships
• Build and maintain a constructive and open relation with the alliance counterpart; teamwork makes the dream work!
• Partner closely with the internal stakeholders, onboard new alliance members and provide support and guidance on the spirit of the collaboration and ways of working.
• Build and maintain healthy relations; lead efforts to increase alignment, mutual understanding and trust.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the partnership as early as possible; identify the need for contractual amendments and resolve disputes.
• Play an active role in further building the Alliance ‘Centre of expertise’ with robust alliance management capabilities essential to maximize the success of our partnerships.

Who are you ?

• You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in an R&D or commercial role in pharma/biotech, experience in managing partnerships is an asset.
• You are able to foster strategic partnerships and drive collaborative initiatives to achieve mutual objectives.
• You are proficient in overseeing alliance governance, cultivating relationships, and optimizing value creation.
• You are skilled in navigating complex landscapes, negotiating agreements, and ensuring alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• You are pro-active and love to step into the unknown.
• You take ownership and are ambitious in everything you do.
• You are solution-oriented and open to different perspectives.
• You demonstrate strategic insight and have excellent communication skills.
• You are a true team player and work comfortably in a matrix structure, leading without authority.
