The Eurobio Scientific Group is expanding its impact in the field of oncology. With the recent acquisition of EndoPredict® (a prognostic test for breast cancer patients) and Prolaris kits® (a prognostic test for prostate cancer patients), we are assessing opportunities for product redesign while also exploring new oncology initiatives. We are looking for a Project Manager R&D who can contribute to this growing area. We are looking for a proactive and knowledge-driven Project Manager R&D Oncology,
with a strong background in product development in the oncology field.
At GenDx, the Project Manager R&D Oncology is highly motivated to make molecular diagnostics faster, easier and more accurate. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and empower customers with technical expertise, making a direct impact in diagnostics applied in the oncology field. Your ultimate goal is to create tangible value for customers and improve outcomes for transplant patients all over the world. You are confident in making well-considered choices, take ownership of your projects and know how to balance independence with bringing people together.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of both new products, based on the input from the Scientific Board, and existing products for oncology.
- Translate technological advancements and research outcomes into valuable product solutions for molecular diagnostics.
- Prepare and manage comprehensive product documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to GenDx colleagues and clients.
- Oversee and support the R&D teams of technicians, software developers and bioinformaticians.
- Ensure compliance with IVDR guidelines and ISO 13485 standards.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in (molecular) oncology.
- 2+ years of work experience in a product development manager role or scientist role with a focus on product development.
- Familiarity with immunology, especially the HLA gene family, is preferred.
- Advanced project management, presentation and analytical skills.
- Experience with IVDR and ISO 13485 is a plus.
- Experience with molecular biological techniques, e.g. NGS, is a plus.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the proximity of Utrecht Science Park.
