The Role

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) specialist, will champion the importance and value of a diverse and inclusive culture. The role will support and implement the development of the global DE&I vision and strategy to create and thread a culture for equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout Genmab.

This position is a key partner to our global HR leaders and the global DE&I team. This position supports and adheres to the effective DE&I strategy across all functions so that diversity and inclusion is embedded throughout the enterprise, the HR processes and organizational culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, implementation, and assessment of HR tools, methods, and processes

  • Acts as DE&I expert internal consultant to HR leaders on HR matters related to entire employee lifecycle

  • Provides DE&I input on the execution of HR processes in line with business goals (performance management, HiPo identification and development, internal mobility, compensation and developmental planning, career pathing etc) within expected timelines

  • Show tailored insights, and strategic perspective to fostering inclusion and increasing diversity across our global team

  • Support and align on the appropriate DE&I data and dashboards with Genmab HR analytics team

  • Work with HR Heads and business leaders to provide DE&I expertise into their strategies and help to create a cohesive internal narrative

  • Align closely with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners as well as wider organizational teams in integrating inclusion, diversity and bias mitigation concepts into learning and employee development programs

  • M onitor DE&I metrics, and research -based insights to diagnose and assess the impact of specific HR strategies and initiatives

  • Develop and support projects which contribute to a high performing organization closely linked to our values and culture

  • Support a listening culture and build DE&I feedback mechanisms into employee engagement activities and internal communications to enable employees to have an opportunity for dialogue

  • Act as DE&I SME to ensure knowhow of latest research and best practice into Genmab DE&I practices

  • Travel: +/- 10 % global travel will be required

Requirements

  • Master’s degree social science, with focus on culture and diversity, or related field and 5 years’ experience in human resources, business, or related area

  • Able to effectively create a narrative using and analyzing data and implement strategies accordingly

  • Have independence of thought and the ability to analyze complex problems from multiple perspectives

  • Have significant and proven experience specializing in employee engagement and DE&I initiatives

  • You must be able to move with urgency, manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results, and follow through on commitments

  • You have a global mind-set and are used to working in a global company setting enabling you to interpret cultural (un)similarities

  • You are familiar with Dutch employment laws and regulations

  • You speak and read Dutch and English

Please note that if you are applying for a position in the Netherlands, Genmab’s policy for all permanently budgeted hires in NL is initially to offer a fixed-term employment contract for a year, if the employee performs well and if the business conditions do not change, renewal for an indefinite term may be considered after the fixed-term employment contract.
