As a Scientific Relations Manager in our Medical Affairs team, you’ll cultivate vital relationships with top-tier therapy area experts and academics. Your proactive engagement with healthcare professionals, clinical development and HEOR teams will not only strengthen our collective knowledge but also be crucial in driving our medical and business strategies forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain an expert knowledge of Kyowa Kirin’s therapeutic areas

• Cultivate relationships with National Key External Experts to deepen their and our insights into the evolving clinical landscape.

• Address healthcare professionals’ queries promptly with balanced and precise scientific knowledge.

• Keep the Patient Journey Manager team updated with the latest scientific findings through comprehensive training.

• Gather field insights to inform and refine Kyowa Kirin’s medical and business strategies.

• Engage in key medical initiatives, advisory boards, and clinical meetings to shape the medical strategy.

• Create and review of medical content, ensuring it aligns with educational and promotional standards.

• Champion digital initiatives in medical activities where applicable.

• Work closely with Clinical Operations & HEOR for successful data generation and clinical program execution.

• Attend selected medical conferences for continuous learning and scientific exchange.

• Assist Corporate Affairs in collaborations with Patient Organizations.

• Utilize the CRM system effectively and provide timely managerial reports.

• Ensure all activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations, company policies, and quality standards.

Position Requirements:

🧬 Scientific Expertise

• A solid foundation in science, through education or experience, is essential.

💊 Industry Experience

• Proven track record in a field role within the medical industry.

🌎 Language Proficiency

• Fluent in Dutch and English - will be working across our BENELUX region.

📈 Digital Savvy

• Experience with digital strategies and tools for customer and patient engagement.

🏥 Healthcare Systems Knowledge

• A comprehensive understanding of the healthcare systems at various levels.
