Associate Director Demand Fulfillment EEMEA (maternity cover)

The position

As a creative Team Leader, with a broad Supply Chain knowledge, the Associate Director Demand Fulfillment builds, and maintains, strong relationships with key stakeholders in within Organon. The Associate Director Demand Fulfillment r eports into the Director Demand Fulfilment, Distribution, and Logistics for EEMEA,

Responsibilities

  • Manage all Demand Fulfilment processes and activities across Russia, South Africa, and subsidiaries, EESCI, MENAT, including the budget.

  • Manage, develop, and retain the Demand Fulfillment Team.

  • Build, manage, and maintain relationships with many different stakeholders: End-to-End, Global Delivery Model,  Commercial Operations at a regional and market-level, 3rd party customers, in-house sites and external suppliers, and other Supply Chain teams.

  • Lead the Sales Projection process for Export markets to inform Commercial about short-to-mid-term expected gross sales revenue and to identify and mitigate supply issues pro-actively.

  • Oversight of critical issues being escalated from daily operations.

  • Act as key contact and the first level of escalation of Commercial and/or internal customers at regional and/or market level

  • Ensure adequate demand management at the market level and understanding key drivers behind markets’ demand forecast.

  • Ensure adequate Inventory Questionable Value (IQV) management in collaboration with Sites, Commercial, and other Supply Chain Management (SCM) stakeholders to minimize discards/write-offs.

  • Ensure adherence to and compliance with the company's policies, procedures, standards, and processes.

  • Drive or support projects and initiatives to transform and improve supply chain management practices.

Supply

  • Ensuring detection and enabling mitigation of major supply risks for the region.

  • Driving major supply issue resolution at market or above-market level.

  • Enabling supply prioritization decision making in case of supply constraints at regional or global level.

  • Ensuring timely information to Commercial and/or customer(s) on major supply events and developments in the supply chain.

  • Actively engaging with Site Planning and End-to-End Planning leaders to enable optimal balance of demand and supply on aggregate level (e.g. regional, site or franchise level).

Inventory

  • Driving optimization of inventory levels across the supply chain in collaboration with Sites, Commercial and other SCM stakeholders.

  • Ensuring adequate IQV management by the Demand Fulfillment team in collaboration with Sites, Commercial and other SCM stakeholders aimed to minimize discards/write-offs.

Reporting

  • Taking care of and improving standard reporting (e.g. metrics regarding demand, supply, master data and inventory) for the team and/or department.

  • Driving the development and deployment of new/better ways of measurement (e.g. SCM performance metrics) and reporting for DF and/or the broader SCM scope. Set targets for metrics and evaluate performance against targets.

Process, quality and compliance

  • Ensuring adherence to and compliance with policies & procedures for the team. Driving actions to improve adherence. Ensuring adequate support to audits for the department.

  • Being owner of Demand Fulfillment process sub-system.

  • Driving education and continuous improvement through Communities of Practice or similar bodies.

  • Ensure adherence to principles, standards and processes as define in the Global Operating Model (GOM).

Requirements:

  • Academic Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.

  • Several years of relevant experience in running complex Supply Chains.

  • Proven track record in successfully relationship management with commercial organizations.

  • Proven track record in demand fulfillment activities

  • Solid People management experience

  • Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and driving efficiency.

  • Operations experience in different industry desirable.
