Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Business Analyst to support our Commercial business teams with their IT projects. The successful candidate will have a significant impact in analyzing business needs, finding opportunities for improvement, and implementing IT solutions to improve commercial operations. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and IT systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work optimally with teams from different functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and requirements within the Commercial IT domain.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps.

Solution Development:

  • Collaborate with IT and business collaborators to craft and implement IT solutions.
  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver value.
  • Provide recommendations for system improvements and process optimizations.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and achievements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Perform data analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Generate and present reports on business performance, trends, and forecasts.
  • Provide actionable insights based on data analysis.

Collaborator Engagement:

  • Act as a liaison between Commercial IT and other business units.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among collaborators.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update collaborators on project progress and outcomes.

Process Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Commercial IT department.
  • Implement standard methodologies and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of process improvements.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to new team members on new systems and processes.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation.
  • Ensure smooth adoption and utilization of IT solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 5-7 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Experience with IT solutions such as ERP, CRM, and data analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of commercial processes and IT systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with project management methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
