Operational Coach
As an Operational Coach for the Enkhuizen site you will enable the squad developing towards a self-steering team. You’re supporting the team by coaching in all elements that are part of owning your own business. Among other things this includes Bayer production system (‘OneMS’), planning, removing roadblocks and secure continuous improvement. Due to the focus of customer centricity and market developments, the needs in a squad will change overtime and it’s expected the Operational Coach will continuously serve the needs of the squad towards self-steering.
You will be the linking pin for OneMS between the Bergschenhoek and Enkhuizen sites & Vegetables Product Supply squad. You are the bridge by knowing local tools and processes to support the enterprise-wide direction for the most practical, effective and efficient OneMS related tools and processes locally. Your main location will be Enkhuizen. You are flexible to travel to Bergschenhoek site once/twice per month.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop robust understanding of OneMS methodology to successfully monitor OneMS processes, lead OneMS implementations and secure sustainment at Bergschenhoek & Enkhuizen sites.
- OneMS representative for Bergschenhoek & Enkhuizen for all stakeholders. Mainly for enterprise-wide OneMS squads. Securing that the needs of the Bergschenhoek and Enkhuizen are considered in the Vegetables Product Supply OneMS squad.
- Responsible for communication and change management processes within Bergschenhoek & Enkhuizen related to OneMS.
- Coaching & enabling individuals and the team to become self-steering:
- Outcomes, sprint cycles and continuous improvement
- Compliance (internal and external policies)
- Teamwork (from team agreements to overall mental health)
- Customer Orientation, Risk Management & Root cause analyses
- OneMS
- Governance of daily start meeting, securing follow-up
- Securing that the squad is informed and prioritizes projects and initiatives that have impact on the squad, potentially share optimization needs with stakeholders.
- Pro-active in relation with the other Operational Coaches as one team, supporting each other when required and being each other’s back-up, so business continuation is guaranteed in the broadest sense of the word.
- Removing roadblocks and supporting the squad, securing the squad being able to work optimally.
- Request support from – or escalate to the (Site) Unit Leads.
- Initiates recurring retrospectives of own performance with squad and anticipates on changing need of squad.

WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience in Operations, coaching and management areas
- Prior experience working in production system environment preferred
- Experience with transformational change
- Lean or scrum certified
- Skilled at leading, managing conflict and negotiating with cross-functional teams
- Social skills
- Empathic
- Agile
- Effective communicator in wording and speaking in both Dutch and English
- Awareness Scrum methodology
