Internship Opportunity: Cell and Molecular Sciences

Position Overview:
Join our dynamic Cell and Molecular Sciences team as an intern, where you’ll dive into ribosome display and yeast display technologies — powerful tools for antibody identification and engineering. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience with advanced molecular biology techniques, protein engineering, and DNA library generation.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and help to carry out experiments using ribosome and/or yeast display technologies for antibody discovery.
- Develop and optimize molecular biology protocols, including PCR, DNA/RNA purification and quantification, yeast handling, flow cytometry, and DNA library design and generation.
- Screen and select target-specific antibodies using display methods.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, ensuring detailed and accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot experimental challenges and enhance protocols.
- Present research findings at team meetings, contributing to ongoing scientific discussions.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (preferably in molecular biology, biotechnology, or immunology) and available for a minimum of 6 months .
- Basic understanding of molecular biology (e.g., PCR, DNA cloning) and microbiology techniques.
- Strong interest in antibody discovery technologies or a desire to learn about them.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
