Your role:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the Customer and Sales Excellence (CaSE) Operations Team as Operational Excellence Manager. In this key role within our CaSE organization, the successful applicant will manage a team designated to identify and execute strategic initiatives, while fostering capability building as part of the Operational Excellence program for the CaSE organization. The role focuses on implementing operational improvements to improve the cost, quality, and timeliness of services. In addition this role is instrumental in driving change and cultivating an environment centered around inclusive problem-solving
You manage the team within the legal framework of each country where team members are based and within the framework set by the sites and the CaSE organization.
You manage major projects to drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achieve company goals in a diverse stakeholder field. You lead and develop the Lean Six Sigma Academy program by developing the course content, providing project leadership, mentoring Operational Excellence team members, and providing training in Lean and Six Sigma concepts.
Other key tasks are:
- Designing a methodology for selecting improvement areas where the biggest impact can be made for customers, business, or internal satisfaction.
- Driving process improvement utilizing a pragmatic approach that combines tools like Lean, DMAIC, 5D, RCA, etc.
- Analyzing process performance, executing gap assessments, and identifying opportunities to execute the strategy of CaSE through process and tools improvements.
- Facilitating cross-functional initiatives for mapping process flow paths, gathering, and analyzing process data to identify root causes.
- Supporting in optimizing available resources through capacity planning and continuous improvement to maximize productivity.
- Identifying opportunities that will benefit customers to drive standardization, automation, and profitability.
- Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of business processes and offering recommendations for improvement.
Who you are:
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of any other European language is a real asset.
• Certified as a Lean & Six Sigma Green Belt, or Black Belt.
• Experience in end-to-end business process management, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and execute improvement projects.
• Strong negotiation skills and a diplomatic approach.
• Ability to challenge the status quo, to drive cultural change and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel.
