Our Benelux commercial organization (119 FTE) is responsible for the sales of our entire, mostly preventive veterinary portfolio to veterinarians and wholesalers in the region. The department is made up of talented experts working in different fields, such as sales, marketing, market access, digital, commercial management, veterinary science and are divided between two offices in Boxmeer and Brussels. United by a shared passion, they strive to make our medicines, vaccines, services, and solutions accessible to animals and the caring individuals overseeing them. Together, they form the foundation of our leading position in the market. Our Ruminants & Technology Solutions Business Unit (19 FTE) focuses on providing preventive products, solutions, and services to veterinarians and farmers in the Benelux ruminants’ market.
Purpose of the Role
As a VSR Biopharma, you will be the connecting link between our products and the veterinarians, farmers, and distributors in your region. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships and contributing to achieving our sales objectives. You will provide expert support regarding diseases, prevention, and treatment, ensuring that all your activities comply with relevant laws and regulations. Your work is critical for the successful collaboration with our partners, and you will actively assist in the development of our strategic goals.
Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Achieving or exceeding sales targets in the assigned region.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analyzing business needs and opportunities to develop effective action plans.
- Managing customer interactions and addressing their concerns to enhance satisfaction.
- Utilizing CRM systems to optimize sales strategies and track performance.
- Executing administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and submitting expenses.
- Providing feedback on market trends and competition to management.
- Collaborating with management on strategic and tactical product aspects.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Responsible for creating a cycle plan in collaboration with Marketing, Veterinarians, and Sales Leads, focusing on identifying opportunities while systematically managing the territory and prioritizing effectively.
Your Profile
- You hold a master’s degree or relevant experience in a similar field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in field sales within the animal health sector or a comparable industry.
- You have a strong motivation and a results-oriented focus, with a proven track record of achieving measurable results.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and moderate English.
- You are eager to learn, open to development, and can excel both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within your territory is required.
