Financial Analyst
Hybrid position based in Amsterdam
Purpose of the role
This position is in the Cost of Sales & Inventory COE (COSI) organization, which performs end to end Cost and Inventory accounting and provides support to our global manufacturing and distribution network. We are a diverse and international team based in Amsterdam, operating in global and dynamic environment.
Main responsibilities
- Create and maintain product cost for assigned manufacturing and distribution entities, and support global productivity calculation during annual budget process
- Analyze and report production results to business partners
- Review consolidated cost and intercompany profit differences at HQ level
- Analyze inventory movements, standard revision, and purchase price variances
- Collaborate with country finance teams, shared service center and HQ teams during financial close, take corrective actions where needed
- Reconcile inventory related P&L and Balance sheet accounts
- Participate in process improvement and business transformation projects
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or another related field
- 3 years of relevant analytical work experience in finance/accounting
- Experience with SAP and BI tools is preferred
- Advanced MS Excel and data analytics skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory
- Proactive, team player with enthusiasm to learn
- Cost accounting and/or experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
